hello world ! my name is
Python, C#, Java, Rust, ASP.NET, AI Engineer
QA Engineer & Software Developer, I turn complicated problems into efficient, elegant software and make sure it stays reliable in production.
scan meHey! My name is Pablo ... and ... I like potatoes. I consider myself a funny and serious guy, if that sounds confusing then GREAT! Now I probably have your attention 😎.
I created this website in 2022 as a way to document all my past and future open projects / accomplishments. But also as an informal CV and portfolio.
I was born in Bogota, Colombia. After I graduated high school I went to Grenoble, France for my university studies, a city that I fell in love with and where I found some of my closest friends 😃. The campus, being very international, makes it a great place to meet open minded people and have great conversations.
I've always been passionate about optimization and algorithms, especially when a seemingly complicated problem has a beautiful and simple solution. Studying math and informatics was my way of finding the tools required to solve any kind of problem!
Emotional well-being is very important to me, and everywhere I work I always try to have a good attitude towards others and spread positive energies 😁. I believe that when there is a good ambience in the room, everyone works better and, most importantly, feels better.
Resourceful and always motivated, I work hard on the subjects that I am passionate about. Capable of thinking differently and creatively, adapting quickly, I enjoy seeking multiple solutions to a problem while remaining rigorous, but don't let this scare you, as I am also a cheerful guy that loves making bad jokes 😇.

A bot that plays Ultimate Tic Tac Toe against a human or against itself, using beam search and a hand-crafted heuristic.
2024A logic puzzle game for Android — slide and join blocks of the same color while avoiding blockages.
Playing with the YOLO object-recognition model to produce fun results — from "me on Mars" to a delayed repetition filter.
A solver for the Binairo puzzle that transforms grids into CNF clauses and solves them with a SAT solver.
A neural network that predicts recidivism from ProPublica's COMPAS data while staying fair to minorities and vulnerable populations.
